The Skaggs Family. Back from Maputo Mozambique in Africa

A few years ago, some really good friends of mine, Wayne Skaggs from Mount Carmel Christian Church, moved to Maputo in Africa.
The Skaggs family had been called to this little town in Mozambique so that Beth could help with her expertise at the CDC there. Yes she is a scientist. I keep asking her for odd ball vaccines but she has yet to deliver. :(
I sure did miss them and when I heard that they were coming back I was so happy and could not wait to see them and spend some time with my buddy Wayne.
Over the holidays, they had family down to visit and they asked to have some photos taken of their family. I did my thing and they loved their photos. They have some sharp looking boys and a beautiful family.

Morgan and Gerardo's Wedding!!

Morgan and Gerardo's Wedding!!!

Shot this wedding in June that was a bit harder than I was expecting. For the first time since starting this photography gig, it rained on me at a wedding. I was blessed enough to have some great friends helping me with the shoot, one of which was 30 something year photography vet Brandi Williams. Many years ago, she was my mentor in this industry and now helps be from time to time when I need a second shoot.

We prayed the rain would stop and God was listening!! We got some great photos of the bride and groom. They looked amazing.

Morgan Tyler married Gerardo Mancilla. They met a few years ago in college and now are going into the ministry together. They are moving to Arizona were Gerardo will finish his schooling and I pray to God blesses them with a beautiful marriage and a amazing ministry.

Alexa Hitt and the Egyptian Room

Recently I did a wedding in Atlanta GA for a bride that was out of this world. Alexa Hitt. She was so stunning and beautiful that I just wanted to keeeeeeeep shooting.
The reception was at the Fox Theater in the Egyptian room. This was the first time shooting at the Fox and I was so impressed. We had a guided tour and even got some photos on the stage. (see below)
The groom is a pilot for the military (thank you for your service to our country Russ) and I even did some cool editing stuff with a photo, inserting a P3 Orion into one of the images, which is what he pilots. Check it out!!!

Oorah, USMC Wedding!!!!

A friend of mine from work tells me his brother, whom is an active Marine, is getting married and moving to Japan. Now I know this Marine, he is a good solider and a good guy. He needs a favor and since he is keeping my freedom alive by serving the USMC, he gets a favor. Here are the photos.
